Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup (150g) dry yellow mustard powder
- 1/2 cup (120ml) filtered water
- 1/3 cup (80ml) apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp (3g) fine sea salt
- 1 tsp (5g) honey
- 1/4 tsp (1g) ground turmeric
Instructions:
- Combine the dry yellow mustard powder and ground turmeric in a non-reactive glass or stainless steel mixing bowl.
- Slowly whisk in the filtered water, stirring until the mixture forms a thick, smooth paste with no dry pockets.
- Stir in the apple cider vinegar, fine sea salt, and honey. Whisk vigorously for 1-2 minutes until the texture becomes glossy and velvety.
- Transfer the mustard into an airtight glass jar and seal tightly.
- Place the jar in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours to allow the flavors to mellow and the bitterness to disappear.
